Lung and respiratory tract diseases are treated by a physician specialized in PNEUMOLOGY (pulmonologist). Respiratory physiotherapy is a low cost therapeutic method and of proven for the treatment of diseases that affect chronically to the respiratory system (COPD, asthma, cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular diseases), acute processes (pneumonia, lung abscess) or very complex surgical interventions (Lung, heart and liver transplants as well as other cardiac or chest interventions).
